bios cheksum error

ciao a tutti,ho una mobo biostar m7NCG400 con nForce2 IGP , all'avvio prima del post mi da bootblock bios checksum error e così via,ne deduco che si sia corrotto il bios,però il bootblock mi fa sperare che con un floppy autofleshante si possa rifleshare il bios,ed ora chiedo il vostro aiuto,potreste farmi un dischetto del genere modificandio ciò che va modificato?

hai provato a fare un reset CMOS? Leggi il manuale della mobo per le istruzioni, oppure togli la batteria a bottone per un minutino e con il cavo di alimentazione del case scollegato.
Se si riprende, al successivo riavvio entri nel BIOS e riconfiguri il tutto.
Se il BIOS s' è corrotto il floppy nn ti serve perché nn parte...

e come l'hai ottenuto il floppy?
Mi potrebbe interessare per una nf7-s che proprio 1 ora fà si bloccata su cecksum error defoult loaded e non funzia + niente, non mi fà entrare nel bios in nessun modo..... ora viaggio col muletto

ma allora il BIOS nn era "partito"...

Se il BIOS è kaputt, il floppy nn lo puoi avviare...

no,il bios non è andato del tutto,il bootblok mi ha salvato,per questo posso flashare il bios tramite floppy

infatti non penso funzioni nel mio caso, perchè se il bios è partito del tutto credo ci sia una schermata nera all boot, nel mio caso arriva al messagio d'errore del cecksum error ma non vedo come potrò fargli fare il boot dal floppy
comunque tentar non nuoce...

Ok, read up on the process so that you don't have too much of a chance for the flash to go wrong.

Are you going to type in the commands at the A:\ prompt?, or will you let the autoexec.bat execute the commands for you? Either way is good. If you will do it manually, at the A:\ prompt, you will type in the name of the flasher.exe and hit enter. This will display the flasher screen, and you will have a place to type in the name of the bios file to do the flash. Some flashers ask first if you want to flash (Y/N) you would type 'Y' and enter, this gives you a space to type in the name of the new bios file name. Then when you hit enter?..it will ask if you want to save the old file (Y/N) its a good idea to save a copy, so you would type 'Y' and enter (or N if you don't want to save a copy), now you will have a space to type in the name..anything will do, bios.old will work, but I like to use the actual name of my old file...which was on my flash recently. 1.13JK12.BIN...I just used JK12.BIN, (DOS dosn't handle long file names, or two dots.)

Now, when you hit enter, the flash takes place, and you go back to an A:\ prompt.

You could put the commands in the autoexec.bat to do all of this automatically like this:

flashername.exe newbiosname.xxx oldbiosname.xxx /py /sy /cc /cp /cd /sb /r

If you do not want to save a copy of your old bios file, then enter these commands:

flashername.exe newbiosname.xxx /py /sn /cc /cp /cd /sb /r

/py tells the flasher to do the flash
/sn tells the flasher to not save a copy of the old bios file
/cc tells the flasher to clear cmos after the flash.
/cp tells the flasher to clear PnP (ESCD) after the flash.
/cd tells the flasher to clear the DMI Data pool after reprogramming.
/sb stands for no BootBlock reflashing, very important.
/r tells the system to reboot after the flash takes place.

If you would like to read up on these switches (commands) put just the flasher on the boot disk and boot to an A:\prompt. type the name of your flasher and /?

This will give you a screen with all of the switch commands and what they do.

There is always a space between the file names, and each switch.

Be sure to remove the diskette when the machine reboots, if you use the autoflash method, or the machine will reboot back to DOS and reflash again.

After a successfull flash, go into setup and once again load bios defaults, save and exit. Reboot and go back into setup and make your setting changes and re detect the hard drive(s).
