Siccome dovrei mandare una mail ad Epox e con loro si può comunicare solo in inglese o tedesco, c'è qualcuno che mi possa tradurre questo testo?:


Spett.le Epox,

Ho un disco fisso da 20gb da 2,5 pollici montato in un box USB 2.0.

Funziona perfettamente su tutte le schede madri con chipset VIA SIS e INTEL. Ora ho sostituito la mia mobo con una Epox 8RDA+ e il suddetto ha cominciato a fare i capricci.
In pratica quando lo collego viene rilevato e installato (con XP è tutto automatico) ma poi si disconnette di continuo impedendomi di trasferire i dati. Pensavo a un problema di alimentazione ma usando un cavo usb con derivazione ps2 per prendere altri 5volt fà uguale. Non è guasto perchè sulle altre mobo non N-force continua a funzionare. Mi è venuto il dubbio di una incompatibilità così l'ho provato su altre mobo N-force di marche diverse ( CHAINTEC, ASUS e Abit) e infatti il problema si ripresenta.

Su usb 1 funziona tutto perfettamente anche su mainboard con chipset nforce però ho necessità di utilizzare usb2 per l’enorme quantità di dati che devo trasferire!

Da una mia ricerca su internet è dischi esterni USB2.0 che hanno problemi con nForce2 sono quelli con il chip GL811 che si trova anche nel mio box!

La LEADTEK ha risolto il problema rilasciando una nuova revisione di bios infatti si legge:

1.Support Athlon XP 2600+/2700+ for FSB333(166MHz) & L2 cache 512K
2.Fixed ROM BIOS of some PCI card can't be flashed.
3.Added Mobile Barton 1800 + L2 512K (133MHZ) and Athlon MP Low Power Model 6 Desktop CPU (L2=256K)
4.Fixed some USB 2.0 device that use Genesys's GL811 USB2.0 controller bug.



Attendo fiducioso che voi di Epox in collaborazione con NVIDIA affrontiate e risolviate questo problema non da poco visto quanti su vari forum di discussione ITALIANI e STRANIERI dicono di avere gli stessi problemi.

It perfectly works on all the motherboard with chipset Street SIS and INTEL. I have now replaced my motherboard with an Epox 8RDA+ and the aforesaid one you/he/she has started to do the whims.
In practice when I connect him/it you/he/she is noticed and installed (with XP it is everything automatic) but it is disconnected continuously then preventing to transfer me the data. I thought about a problem of feeding but using a cable usb with derivation ps2 to take other 5volt equal fàs. It is not spoiled because on the other mobos not N-force keeps on working. The doubt of an incompatibility has come me so I have tried him on other motherboards N-force of different brands (CHAINTEC, ASUS and Abit) and in fact the problem him ripresenta.

On usb 1 also work perfectly everything on mainboard with chipset nforce however I have necessity to use usb2 for the enormous quantity of gives that owe to transfer!

From one search of mine on internet is external disks USB2.0 that has problems with nForce2 they are those with the chip GL811 that is also found in my playpen!

In Praxis wenn ich ihn verbinde, wird es erhoben und wird installiert, es ist mit XP automatisch ganz, aber es schaltet dauernd dann aus, da verhindert es mich, die Daten zu versetzen. Ich dachte an ein Problem von Ernährung aber einen Hohl usb mit Ableitung ps2 benutzend, um 5volt gleiche fà andere zu nehmen. Es ist nicht kaputt, weil nicht N-force, zu funktionieren fortsetzt auf die anderen motherboard . Der Zweifel von einer Unvereinbarkeit kam mir so ich versuchte ihn auf andere motherboard von Marken, CHAINTEC, ASUS und Abit ging N-force, und tatsächlich das Problem sich ripresenta.

Auf usb 1 Ganze läuft perfekt auf auch mainboard mit chipset nforce, aber ich habe Notwendigkeit, usb2 für die enorme Menge von Daten, die ich versetzen muß, zu benutzen!

Es ist Schallplatten USB2.0 von meiner Forschung auf internet, du äußerst, daß sie Probleme mit nForce2 haben, sind sie jene mit dem chip GL811, daß es in auch meinem Stand ist!

Ich warte zuversichtlich, daß ihr von Epox in Zusammenarbeit mit NVIDIA euch gegenübersteht und beschließt nicht dieses Problem von sieht wenig wieviele auf du verabschiedest Forumsdiskussion von Diskussion ITALIENISCH und AUSLÄNDER sagen, die gleichen Probleme zu haben.

Infatti fino ad ora è così che ho comunicato con le varie assistenze straniere ed ho sempre capito! Spero che anche loro abbiano capito me!
