Record C.R.L.S. e file EOS

Ciao a tutti, qualcuno saprebbe darmi delle delucidazioni su questi due termini:
- record C.R.L.S.
- file in formato EOS.

Fino ad ora non sono riuscito a trovare nulla.

Il formato EOS per i file non l'ho mai sentito ...
... però sò che il termine E.O.S significa End Of Stream ... è un po' come la proprietà EOF per i file ma applicata agli Stream.

Il termine C.R.L.S. si riferisce alla revocazione di certificati emessi da una struttura pubblica (Non è che il termine Records si intende come "Registazioni" inteso non come contesto informatico?)

CAs publish certificate revocation lists (CRLs) to identify certificates that have been revoked (for example, when a certificate user has left the organization or when a private key has been compromised). During the certificate validation process, software can check the CRL to determine whether the certificate is invalid. Certificates that are listed in CRLs are invalid and should not be trusted. When a revoked certificate expires, it is no longer published in the CRL. The CA uses its private key to digitally sign CRLs to prevent tampering with them.

Per quanto riguarda i record C.R.L.S. dalle poche informazioni che sono riuscito a recuperare sembra che C.R.L.S. stia per carriage return-line separated ed è un formato di memorizzazione dei record un po' vecchiotto (risale ai tempi del dos).
Grazie mille per l'EOS. Per caso sai a che carattere (o serie di caratteri) corrisponde?
