Che mi dite del Master DVD 4x della TEAC?

Anche io ho letto che è un pioneer rimarchiato.... pero', perchè la pioneer ha tirato fuori un nuovo firmware che risolve i problemi del suo a05 mentre la teac no?

su un forum americano (mi pare) avevo letto che qualcuno aveva comparato i 2 firmware ed erano identici (cambiava solo il nome del produttore).... qualcuno sa qualcosa di +??

se vuoi risolvere i problemi anche sul teac poi prima trasformarlo in un pio e poi risolvi , in che modo? cosi:

As you probably know, teac and pioneer are just the same drive, just using a bit different FWs. So what I tried was testing with a Pio's fw and see if it could upgrade my Teac. As I thought the upgdvd.exe checks if my drive is a Pio's and 'cause it fails the recognition, just abort all the process. The issue is in the .DAT file, so follow this steps:

I took Pio's official 1.21 fw and edited the file REFINQ.DAT and edited as follows:

ORIGINAL FILE..................................

R5100104.121 // 0: Firmware Filename
PIONEER DVD-R105 // 1: Enter Key
PIONEER // 2: Vendor Name
DVD-RW DVR-105 // 3: Product ID
1.21 // 4: Rivision Level
02/12/06 // 5: ROM Release date
A // 6: N: Normal only, A: Kernel+Normal
H8_3062A // 7: CPU type (H8_3062A or H8_3062R)
ATPIO1.21 // 8: OEM Mark
BIN // 9: Firmware File Format (BIN or HEX)
100000 // 10: Firmware File Binary Size
1005 // 11: Drive Model & Generatoion (10xx --> DVD-RW)
0 // 12: Show the caution


Change the file like this:

EDITED FILE...............................................

Once we edited the file, save it and use the UPGDVD /F option to upgrade. The process will start normally and then, no more Teac in your computer...just Pioneer 105.
(Only the sticky in the front panel) ))

I reccomend that for now reflash again with the 1.30 2x4all FW that works perfectly in the "old" Teac )

Troppo caro da S* lo vendono a me no!

effettivamente confermo è troppo caro, pagato 299€ e già fatto diventare un pioneer va che una bomba, comunque da qualche parte ho letto che è TEAC che produce i masterizzatori a Pioneer.

Da un anno a questa parte Teac non produce piu' proprie meccaniche, ne' per se ne' per terzi . I suoi 48x e 52x sono delle meccaniche Asus rimarchiate, e questo Dvd e' un Pioneer.
