Microsoft ha annunciato che Xbox ha avuto un mese di vendite record a novembre. Il nuovo bundle Xbox con Jet Set Radio Future e Sega GT 2002 é ritenuto la ragione maggiore per questo incremento di vendite, ma anche Xbox Live sembra avere fatto la sua parte. Oltre al successo hardware anche 2,4 milioni di titoli software hanno cambiato proprietario, rendendo novembre il mese al secondo posto nella classifica del software venduto per la casa di Redmond. veramente non è l'unica... e da tempo che ci sono queste notize... che per ovvietà non sono state postate... ma visto che l'unica notizia da lamer e falsa è stata postata... non vedo perchè non si possa dire come stanno le cosa.

Beh ragazzi a Seattle veramente esultano perchè a novembre avrebbero venduto 400.000 XBox...secondo me si accontentano di poco, con tutto quello che hanno speso sopratutto in pubblicità...mah...

Battute a parte, è indubbio che le vendite della X in questi ultimi periodi siano aumentate: vuoi per l'abbassamento di prezzo, vuoi per i bundle, vuoi per il kit X-Box Live, vuoi per il parco titoli sempre più vasto e qualitativamente molto buono (Splinter Cell & Panzer Dragon Orta Rulez ).
Però sarebbe interessante sapere le percentuali di incremento a livello mondiale (quanto meno continentale), perchè IMHO dire che in un determinato Paese (ad esempio U.K.), le scorte sono esaurite non è molto significativo per il fatto che in altri stati (Jappolandia in primis), continua a vendere sotto le aspettative, e quindi non si riesce a cogliere effettivamente il senso dell'incremento.

quì in UK la xbox vende bene, ma i negozi ne sono pieni e lo sono sempre stati...

Ma è l'effetto del bundle ed è normale che provochi molte vendite , in jappone non fanno nulla per far aumentare le vendite, non vedo un final fantasy per xbox ad esempio , in ogni caso in australia ha superato da un pezzo la ps2 , in germania è davanti al cubo , e la situazione è questa...

Ho comprato anche io l'X-box, con i due gioche sega, e sono rimasto molto deluso(per il momento), ho gia' la ps2 e mi aspettavo molto di piu'!
Cmq ho in programma di prendere rispettivamente:

DOA3
Splinter Cell(forse)
E penso che saranno questi i giochi grazie ai i quali mi ricredero'!

Mah, a Novembre in Usa PARE che abbia venduto quanto il cubo (sicuramente di più a Dicembre), in Giappone si è risollevata un pochino ma siamo sempre su cifre basse per il periodo, in pratica sappiamo che và molto bene solo in UK e...in Australia
Saranno state anche vendite record, ma penso che siano dovute in gran parte al periodo pre-natalizio, che influenza TUTTE le console. Certo che con il bundle, con X-box Live e con Splinter Cell hanno comunque dato una bella botta al mercato

Microsoft just sent over some new information regarding their record-breaking Xbox sales through the month of November. According to NPD Group Inc. data, Xbox achieved its best month of the year for console sales in November. According to Microsoft, the demand for the Xbox has widened the gap between Xbox and the GameCube.
Fueled by the recent launch of Xbox Live, a game portfolio of around 200 titles and a special holiday offering, sales for November nearly doubled the previous month's volume. November marked the seventh consecutive month in which Xbox console sell-through outpaced that of Nintendo GameCube.

The Xbox Holiday Offer, a $199 specially priced and packaged system, complete with the Xbox console, Xbox Controller S and two Xbox-exclusive games from Sega (Sega GT 2002 and Jet Set Radio Future) outsold Nintendo's GameCube/Mario offering by 131 percent.

In November, shoppers snatched up more than 2.4 million Xbox games, making it the second-highest software sales month since the platform was introduced. Overall, Xbox has sold 34 percent more games than Nintendo since either console was introduced. Splinter Cell, a from Ubi Soft, topped the bestseller list, with nearly a quarter million units sold worldwide in just the last two weeks of November.

"Sales figures confirm that 'Splinter Cell' on Xbox is at the top of every gamer's wish list this holiday season," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubi Soft Entertainment. "There has never been a game that uses lighting, shadows and stealth better than 'Splinter Cell,' and the power of Xbox helps make that possible.
