Aiuto problema - no screen found(EE) e xinit: unable to connect to X server

Salve,

ringrazio in anticipo chi può darmi una mano.
Stavo cercando di riesumare la tavoletta grafica con touchscreen integrata al mio lifebook T730 ma ho fatto più casino che altro :|
Il portatile mi rimane in modalità terminale e non parte il server grafico (ho provato a reinstallare e riconfigurare Xorg ma nada), digitando startx mi esce:


Ogni suggerimento è ben accetto, vorrei evitare di reinstallare ho un botto di SW configurato mannaggia a me!

te lo dice chiaramente.
alla riga 1 del file ts.conf c'è un // che non è riconoscituo (hai messo un commento?)

verifica quel file

ok ma il file risulta vuoto, ho provato a ripristinarlo usando QUESTO contenuto,
ora non si avvia nemmeno più in linea di comando ma si pianta al grub, va soltanto la recovery mode ...sento già che l'unica è piallare

Ma no vai tranquillo che non c'è nulla di cui preoccuparsi.

A naso sembra manchi proprio la definizione dello schermo nel xorg.

Da remoto è difficile ma se riesci ancora ad andare in shell, vai con un
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

ovviamente prima stacca la tavoletta.
Dovrebbe rigenerarti lo xorg.conf
oppurre https://www.x.org/releases/X11R7.0/d...arting%20point.

il dpkg-reconfigure lo avevo già provato ma in una fase precedete allora l'ho rifatto ora e sembra essere andato a buon fine tant'è che ora mi esce lo splash screen che prima non vedovo ...ma solo in reboot (allo spegnimento), mentre all'avvio si pianta più avanti di prima ma si pianta sempre. Passando al terminale e lanciando startx ora il messaggio è cambiato:



P.S. la tavoletta non posso staccarla perchè è integrata nello schermo che è touch e pen...
P.S. 2 ho lanciato anche "echo $DISPLAY" ...è normale che la riga è vuota, senza numero?

Recupera il file di log di xorg.
E in particolare dove ci sono gli EE che indicano gli errori.

Intanto Kaya grazie per il tuo tempo, ho usato solo in parte i tuoi link e in sostanza non ci sono miglioramenti.
Il primo link da istruzioni per schede invidia ma sul mio c'è una semplice intel integrata.
Il secondo l'ho provato e diciamo che i comandi sembrano andare a buon fine, ma non cambia nulla

installati si, ma non credo funzionino...
...anzi molto probabile che siano stati quelli a farmi casino.

Diciamo che la procedura l'ho seguita e non mi ha restittuito errori,
poi al riavvio s'è piantato... comunque ora ho rimosso tutto ma non riparte uguale.

Potrebbe essere che è rimasto aperto qualcsa col comando vim oppure da qualche parte il server video/display punta ad un file vuoto o errato... boo

Dentro la cartella /etc/X11 ci sono i file di configurazione di una decina di pacchetti, scopri quali sono e reinstallali, ma non credo sia quello il problema.
Ora che hai eliminato il file ts.conf, il file Xorg.0.log cosa dice?
Non fare altre tre foto, basta un
cat /var/log/Xorg.0 > /home/TUA_HOME/xorg.log
e poi caricalo da qualche parte
