Compatibilità RAM con Mainboard

Ciao a tutti, possiedo una scheda madre Z87 Pro.
Vorrei cambiare le ram e tra le specifiche della scheda trovo questo:

Se fate caso da 3000 a 1800 c’è sempre la nota (O.C.)*, su 1600 e 1333 invece no.
La domanda è:
posso montare SOLO ram a 1600 o 1300 che poi in OC possono arrivare a frequenze più alte (fino a 3000 come indicato, chiaramente in base alle caratteristiche tecniche, qualità, raffreddamento etc..ma non entro nello specifico)? oppure posso montare dei banchi che già di default siano, nel caso più estremo, anche 3000 MHz?

puoi montare ram di quelle velocita che pero potrebbero richiedere dell'overclock x reggere tali frequenze, cmq nn portano chissa quali vantaggi x cui andrei su ram da 1600 o 1866MHz al piu, dipende da che offerte trovi nell'usato
