Asus z370 Prime-A..anche pesante oc, senza fronzoli ma massiccia

Io ho preso una Gigabyte Z370 Ultra Gaming e te la posso consigliare. L'ho abbinata ad un i5-8600K, 2x8GB ram a 3600Mhz XMP e NvME Samsung EVO da 250GB.
La scheda funziona perfettamente, ho aggiornato subito il BIOS via chiavetta USB (FAT32) senza problemi.
Oltre ai pregi funzionali ammetto che tutta la questione colorazione è proprio figa, i LED colorati sono belli alla vista, certo se hai un case con finestra.
Per la parte tecnica ha tutto quello che cercavo, i 2 slot M.2, molte prese USB, Type-C e pin ventole.
Il BIOS è abbastanza intuitivo e dedica specifiche funzioni per l'overclock e sensori temparture ottimi.
L'XMP, fondamentale per far viaggiare le RAM al meglio, è attivabile come opzione nel BIOS.
Temevo problemi col mio dissipatore molto grande ma ci sta, ho messo solo le ram negli slot più distanti.
A cifra ci sta, le mobo più costose hanno funzioni che non mi interessanto, tipo il supporto SLI per Nvidia o più linee PCI-e.

Nel complesso sono pienamente soddisfatto e quindi la consiglio.

Scusate una curiosità, io mi sono letto le specifiche della Asus PRIME PRIME Z370-A e della Gigabyte Z370 Aorus ultra Gaming, per quanto riguarda gli 2 slot M2.
Ma non mi è chiaro se entrambi gli slot M2 sfruttano il bus PCIe oppure se qualcuno si appoggia al bus ssd classico. Intendo banda passante, non connessione elettrica

PCIe Gen 3 x4 is fast though, delivering up to 32 Gb/s data transfer speed per connector, the M.2 solution supports RAID modes. Again, the Z370 chipset runs out of PCIe lanes, the M2 units are shared in-between SATA ports. The lower M2 slot has a heat shield that sits under the heatsink, as shown in the photo above.

There are two M2 SSD slots available, two 8cm type 2242/2260/2280. All support PCIe x4/x2 Gen 3.0. With NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 connectors onboard, however, are shared with the SATA connectors. So if you use the upper M2 slot then SATA1 will be disabled. For the 2nd M2 slot in use, it even means that port 5 and 6 are disabled.



Non mi è molto chiara la questione asus per quanto riguarda gli asterischi, sempre temibili
Mentre per Gigabyte, non mi sembra abbiano specificato, forse è sotto inteso, ma a me piacciono le cose molto chiare e comprendere bene.
Magari sono io un po rinco, ci sta, sono a digiuno di hardware da un bel po di annetti
