ADSL2+, buona connessione ottenibile ma velocità bassa

Sto diventando matto con il mio ISP (Telecom Alice 7mega)

Ho un Router Alice con chipset Broadcom (notoriamente più robusto con connessioni limite), connesso in bridged+routed ad un Mikrotik RB2011 che fa pppoe.

Il mio problema viene da fatto che nonostante abbia una velocità ottenibile (teorica) di quasi 7mega, la velocità di download è molto molto altalenante e non riesco a superare i 2mega di media.

Ovviamente, non mi baso su speedtest.net (che lascia il tempo che trova), ma download di grandi file da buoni FTP e ping verso 8.8.8.8 da terminale.

Ho provato sia a connettermi in G.DMT che in ADSL2+, sperando che un profilo "piu basso" mi avesse portato una connessione migliore e meno altalenante, visto che i 20mega teorici della adsl2+ sono impossibili da raggiungere.

L'unica differenza è che in g.dmt aumento leggermente il ping di 5-10ms, ma il succo del discorso non cambia.
