Problema Rimozione Intel Anti Theft by mcafee

Mi sta scadendo il periodo di prova del software Intel Anti Theft by mcafee e volevo rimuoverlo disinstallandolo attraverso la rimozione software di windows 8;
avvio la procedura, mi chiede i dati di riconoscimento account e poi inizia una procedura di rimozione nella quale si vede un barra progressiva e una scansione delle varie cartelle e file sotto la dicitura decrittografia, solo che ad un certo punto mi spunta una schermata che dice che è impossibile rimuovere il software a causa di un errore , ma non specifica di cosa si tratta; ho provato a riavviare la procedura , a riavviare il pc, ho provato in modalità provvisoria, ma sempre lo stesso risultato, parte la scansione e poi spunta la schermata di errore.
Dal sito di mcafee ho scaricato un programma di assistenza che rileva degli errori ma non so se sono quelli la causa di tutto e di come agire.

Il periodo di prova scade tra 2 giorni, magari se aspetto chissà se dopo la scadenza mi fa rimuovere il tutto.
