Processore x86-64 - Windows a 32 o 64bit?

Ciao a tutti,
il mio computer monta 4GB di Ram (vorrei sfruttarli tutti e 4) e un processore AMD Phenom II X4 965. Volevo capire se fosse a 32 o 64 bit, per cui ho utilizzato il software CPU-Z e ho estratto il seguente report.


Alla voce Instructions sets, indica x86-64, ma non capisco, per cui vi chiedo: posso installare Windows a 64bit o solo 32bit?

E' 64 bit.
Installa windows a 64 bit.

L' estensione X86-64 e' stata inventata da AMD con le CPU Athlon64 , da quelle CPU in poi tutte le cpu AMD sono a 64 bit.

Successivamente questa tecnologia e' stata data in licenza anche ad Intel che iniziamente aveva sviluppato una tecnologia 64 bit (itanium) incompatibile con la classica x86
