Perplessità sul tipo di ram

Ciao a tutto il forum,

Questa è la mia configurazione attuale:
ho un Phenom II X4 965BE con dissi Termaltake Silent 939 K8,
VGA GTX 285 BE XFX con Accelero extreme GTX PRO,
2 HD 250MB e 1TB,
mobo Asus M2N-SLI deluxe,
Ram ddr2 2x2gb Corsair XMS2 C4DHX 6400 800mhz 4-4-4-12,
ali Enermax 500 liberty silent

Vorrei comprare un ASUS AM3 M4N98TD EVO a 96 euro, perchè il procio non viene fruttato!!!
...è la scelta giusta visto che la VGA è Nvidia e quindi, da quel che ho capito, per avere stabilità e SLI, lo stesso deve essere per il chipset, cioè serie M4N e non M4A (AMD)???
...qualche altro consiglio???

...e vorrei acquistare anche 4GB di ram...
...meglio un 2x2gb o 1x4gb prevedendo che win7 64bit o successivi s.o. supportano 16gb??

-Non capisco cosa tu intenda per "il processore non viene sfruttato"
-Non è vero che il sistema è più stabile se prendi una scheda madre con chipset nvidia utilizzando una scheda video nvidia e non credo che a te serva uno sli di gtx285, non sarebbe per niente conveniente;
-Tra le ram da te indicate le più convenienti sono le G.SKILL DDR3 4GB PC1600 CL7 KIT (2x2GB) G.Skill 4GBRM, prendere ram superiori a 1600MHz non è per nulla conveniente, la ram non ha bisogno di dissipatori aggiuntivi rispetto a quello già montato (se non si ha intenzione di fare overclock estremi);
-L'alimentatore regge tranquilamente l'overclock, ma io credo che anche le ram che possiedi con un leggero overvolt possano arrivare a 1100MHz circa e anche la scheda madre ti permetta di portare il processore almeno a 3,8GHz, hai già fatto qualche prova? perchè non ti conviene cambiare ora la scheda madre, non sarebbe comunque compatibile con i futuri processori.

Aggiorna il bios della scheda madre con l'ultimo disponibile e prova l'overclock così con i componenti che hai, non è possibile che non salga nulla.
