<p align="left">Power VR ha ufficialmente annunciato, al Cebit 2002 di Hannover, la nuova verisone di chip Kyro II SE: rispetto alla precedente generazione di chip, la frequenza di lavoro è stata portata a 200 Mhz contro gli originari 175 Mhz. Prossimamente è previsto il rilascio di una nuova versione di driver che dovrebbe permettere nuovi livelli prestazionali utilizzando applicazioni che sfruttano le funzionalitò di Transform &amp; Lightning.</p> <p align="center"><strong><em>PowerVR Technologies Debuts KYRO II SE&#153; Graphics Processor at CeBIT 2002</em></strong></p> <blockquote> <p><em>March 13, 2002: PowerVR Technologies &#150; a division of Imagination Technologies &#150; unveiled the PowerVR KYRO II SE 3D Graphics Accelerator today at CeBIT 2002. KYRO II SE is the third processor in the KYRO family of 2D/3D graphics and video accelerators. <br> <br> The PowerVR KYRO II SE processor, rated at 200 MHz, delivers an outstanding combination of frame rate performance and image quality, thanks to an architecture that makes extremely efficient use of the available memory bandwidth and incorporates a host of sophisticated features that support user demand for ever-increasing scene complexity. KYRO II SE&#146;s PowerVR architecture utilizes a smarter rendering technology, which defers texturing to ensure that only graphics information that will be visible on screen is processed. This smarter graphics architecture allows KYRO II SE to outperform cost-comparative graphics solutions based on traditional graphics architectures.
