Le porte usb 3.0 riuscirebbero ad alimentare un HDD esterno da 3,5"?
Salvea tutti,
chiarisco meglio la domanda: so bene che ora come ora gli HDD da 3,5 sono tutti provvisti di ali con presa a muro in quanto le usb 2.0 oltre a fornire solo 5V non portano suff energia per alimentarlo (nemmeno se fossero 2, vero?), ora che sono arrivate le 3.0 è possibile pensare ad HDD da 3.5" esterni alimentati solo ed esclusivamente dalle porte usb del pc? grazie mille =)

per quel che ne so sulle 3.0 è stato innalzato l'amperaggio (a 900mA se non sbaglio) ma il voltaggio è limitato comunque a 5V quindi niente hd da 3,5", che funzionano con 5V + 12V
