su nel senso di sopra si
 dentro la vedo dura  puoi metterlo esterno (in un box), al massimo "volante" sul controller del NB

nel senso che non si "accende" o che non viene riconosciuto?
bhe un hd da 2,5 non supera le 500 mA in effetti, ripensandoci potrebbe anche non funzionare perchè l'alimentazione fornita potrebbe essere insufficiente

è per quello che ti dicevo allora, non saprei da dove poter prelevare corrente a sufficienza dal nb per alimentare l'hd senza intervenire in modo drastico
bisogna utilizzare vie "esterne"

L'hd da 3,5 necessita di 12v e 5v, sul notebook il 2,5 ha solo la 5v.
Ti serve un alimentazione supplementare.
