Anche ECS partecipaerà al prossimo Cebit 2002 di Hannover; la seguente press release riporta le principali novità che verranno esposte alla fiera, dal 13 al 20 Marzo:

CeBIT is on again from March 13th-20th in Hannover, Germany, and ECS Elitegroup will be there with a range of products bigger and better than ever before. We will be at Stand C11 in Hall 19, and we invite you to inspect our booth.<br><br>

Our display will bristle with an extensive range of cutting edge motherboards that deliver top level performance. For the Pentium 4 platform, boards featuring the Intel 845, 845D, 845E and 845G chipsets will be shown, including the award-winning P4IBAD. Also to be shown will be boards with the SiS 645, 645DX (L4S5A 3.0), 650 and 651 chipsets for those interested in DDR solutions. Sure to arouse much interest will be the L4S7A with SiS 648 chipset that boasts AGP 8x, IDE RAID, USB 2.0 and an IEEE 1394 ‘Firewire’ port. For the Athlon Socket A platform, boards with VIA and SiS chipsets will be exhibited, including the K7VTA3 revision 3.0 with the powerful VIA KT333 chipset, and the K7S6A with SiS 745 chipset that offers tweaking options to satisfy any enthusiast. There will be daily demonstrations of the K7VTA3 3.0 and L4IBAE (Intel 845E chipset) motherboard models. Boards for both system builders and ‘power users’ will be on show, including many models soon to be released featuring IDE RAID, onboard LAN, AGP 8x and USB2.0. These feature-rich models show our determination to become a well-respected name in the DIY market. Video cards with the SiS 315, 315E and 330 chipsets will also be exhibited.

Featuring prominently in the ECS display will be the demonstration of our new desknote PCs, the i-Buddie and i-Buddie 4. The i-Buddie comes with a VIA C3 GigaPro CPU and a SiS630ST chipset, and supports memory cards up to 512MB (SDRAM only). Moving up a notch, the i-Buddie 4 takes Intel socket 478 CPUs (including Northwood processors), comes with a SiS 650 chipset and has a 1GB memory capacity. For Athlon fans, the i-Buddie model designed for Athlon processors will also be on view. These notebook-style PCs deliver desktop PC performance, yet offer all the conveniences of a notebook. Also displayed will be our G200 PDA models with Win CE and Linux operating systems.</i></blockquote>
