Problema scheda audio Conexant Cx20549

Ciao a tutti; è da un pò che vi seguo da visitatore e finalmente mi sono deciso ad iscrivermi!
Scusate in anticipo se ho sbagliato sezione ma questa mi sebrava la più adatta.
Vi spiego subito il mio problema: ieri ho fatto il downgrade da vista a xp sul mio pc portatile, un HP Pavilion DV6500.
Sembra che sia andato tutto bene; ho avuto qualche problema iniziale con i driver della scheda video ma alla fine sono riuscito a trovare ed installare quelli giusti. Il problema è con l'audio. Sono ormai già due giorni che mi sbatto per cercare di farlo funzionare. Ho provato ad installare credo ormai tutti i driver disponibili per quella periferica in giro su internet. Ho seguito tutte le guide in inglese ed in italiano che ho trovato ma niente.
Comunque, io credo che i driver siano quelli giusti ma che sia qualche altro problema che fa si che l'audio non funzioni.
Oltre a l'audio ho anche altre periferiche sconosciute anche se quello che a me preme, è proprio l'audio!

Anche io ho effettuato la medesima operazione.
Ora la situazione è quasi la stessa.

Sei riuscito a trovare nel frattempo i driver audio?

Se si saresti così gentile da dirmi dove posso trovarli o, se vuoi, inviarmeli?

Nella gestione periferiche sono rimasti altri punti interrogativi vicino:
-controller del bus di gestione di sistema
-controller di rete
- controller ethernet
- controller video (compatibile VGA)
- coprocessore
- PCI devices
- e tre periferica di sistema di base

Potresti dirmi se hai trovato i drive anche per queste periferiche?
