I Pentium D sono facilmente overcloccabili anche se la tua mobo non è molto adatta allo scopo poichè basata su chipset VIA;per effettuare l'overclock, è necessario aumentare la frequenza del bus di sistema essendo il molti bloccato verso l'alto; prima di fare questo, ricordati di attivare i fix nel BIOS per evitare che l'overclock dell'FSB si trasmetta anche alle altre periferiche; il rapporto di frequenza FSB/DRAM puoi lasciarlo anche a 3/4 (cioè bus di sistema più lento delle memorie) poichè le memorie essendo delle PC-6400 attualmente funzionano in underclock e quindi hanno ancora un buon margine di miglioramento; con il dissi standard dovresti raggiungere facilmente i 3,4/3,5 Ghz mentre per overclock + spinti dovresti pensare ad un sistema di raffreddamento modificato visto che queste CPU riscaldano davvero tanto!!
