Acer Extensa 5230 CM 575 2.0GHz

Ok... il computer in questione è come riportato nel titolo
l'Acer Extensa 5230 CM 575 2.0GHz. E' un computer un po datato ma per quel che serve a me spendere già 500 euro mi sembra esagerato: utilizzo il portatile per lavoro d'ufficio, navigare in internet e al massimo concedermi qualche partita con qualche buon vecchio gioco come neverwinter night 1, v-rally 3 o age of empire II e via dicendo (giochi non certo recenti).
Con win XP ovviamente non avrei problemi ad utilizzarlo, però non so proprio se con win7 avrò lo stesso successo... Ammettiamo che verso dicembre voglia aggiornare il mio sistema operativo con win7 questo computer lo tiene bene oppure dovrò attendere tempi immani solo per aprire un browser web???
