WinXP Pro SP2, installo SP3 e "si è verificato un errore interno" come risolvere?

Ciao a tutti, ho un pc con WindowsXP SP2 e vorrei installare il service pack3...

Quando si avvia l'installazione del SP3 (ho provato sia l'installazione via windows update, che quella scaricando il pack x amministratori di rete), però ad un certo punto mi appare un errore:
Si è verificato un errore interno.
Installazione Service Pack 3 non completata.

Vi incollo qui sotto il svcpack.log, voi avete qualche dritta da darmi per riuscire ad installare l'SP3?

ciaop purtroppo non so leggere il log. comunque per esperienza il sp3 ha dato molti problemi su macchine gia "vissute".
Ti consiglio di fare un cd con NLITE integrando a questo punto oltre il SP3 anche tutti gli aggiornamenti

(puoi usare anche il pack di ONE e stai ok per gli aggiornamenti)


So che è palloso formattare e tornare da zero ma forse è la soluzione migliore per avere un sistema stabile e funzionale.

Prova ad installarlo da modalità provvisoria dopo aver disattivato firewall, antivirus, "Ripristino Configurazione di Sistema" e Defender se presente.

La soluzione migliore, comunque, è quella suggerita da Seangel, potresti integrare il service pack con nLite in pochi click (QUI il thread ufficiale).
