Portatile per editoria e Office "intensivo", niente giochi, max 1200 euro

Ciao a tutti,
chiedo un consiglio per una collega che deve comperare un portatile.

Lavoriamo nell'editoria e facciamo testi di matematica, per cui il portatile deve gestire senza problemi file Word strapieni di formule realizzate con Equation Editor o MathType, pdf molto pesanti, anche con complesse immagini vettoriali, e deve essere adatto eventualmente anche per applicazioni come Adobe Indesign o Quark Xpress.
Verrà impiegato anche per usi generici (tranne che per i giochi): Office, Internet, vedere DVD e filmati HD, masterizzare, ascoltare musica.

Verrà usato come sostituto di un desktop, per cui non sono importanti l'ingombro limitato, il peso ridotto e la lunga autonomia della batteria; invece è utile che lo schermo sia il più grande possibile (meglio anche se la definizione dello schermo non è elevatissima, per non essere costretti a usare una definizione molto alta con il risultato di avere icone e caratteri troppo piccoli).

Il budget massimo è 1200 euro, ma ovviamente meno si spende meglio è.

Anche se è importante che ci siano tutte le caratteristiche richieste.
