Problemino AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+

Salve a tutti,proprio ieri ho acquistato un processore AMD Athlon come da titolo topic.Possiedo una scheda madre M2N4-SLI.In seguito all'installazione del processore Windows me lo riconosce come AMD Processor Model Unknown...ho aggiornato il bios alla versione 1002 (l'ultima disponibile non in versione beta) e scaricato i driver,senza aver nessun successo...Come posso risolvere?

ma il bios lo riconosce?
nella schermata d'avvio ti dice il nome del processore?
controlla con cpu-z che giri a pieno regime, poi che windows riconosca o meno non importa

Ma può dipendere dal fatto che uso XP a 32 bit??

Tutto ok, però devi abilitare cool'n'quiet da bios (per il risparmio energetico) e usare un'utility terza come rmclock (che ti consiglio se vuoi smanettaere un pò)

Comunque,ho visto che anche da BIOS mi dice che il Processor Name è sempre Unknown...Come cazz faccio?L'ultima versione di bios è la 1200 e qualcosa,ma è ancora in beta!Tuttavia c'è scritto che supporta altri processori...mò faccio una prova...

Ok,aggiornato il bios alla versione beta il processore è perfettamente riconosciuto.Ora volevo chiedere un'altra cosa...Ho installato i driver del processore e il Dual Core Optimizer,c'è qualche altra operazione da fare per finire di sistemare il tutto?Grazie.

Uhm...ho abilitato da bios la funzione C'n'Q,ora è settata su "Auto".
C'è qualche driver da scaricare per la gestione?Sul sito AMD non ho trovato nulla.

Ehm, non proprio, la tecnologia di risparmio energetico è disattivata: dovrebbe andare @ 1ghz e solo all'occorrenza @ 3.1.
Controlla da bios di averlo abilitato (se c'è "enabled", sennò lascia "AUTO"), poi prova da pannello di controllo, opzioni risparmio energia, altrimenti usa RMClock.
