ho anche sto problema, al boot mi compare sto messaggio di errore

Mi dice anche che nn riesce a ennumerare (?) alcune porte usb! sto errorino me lo da anche frugalware ma va tutto lo stesso. il primo errore mi è totalmente nuovo! ho anche appena aggiornato il bios ma nn cambia niente!

Non credo sia un bug grave, sarà il solito bios ACPI allegro dell'Asus :-D. Lo ricevo in molte macchine che poi funzionano bene. Prova a cercare una DSDT aggiornata per il tuo computer se hai malfunzionamenti (tipo che ti si blocca il computer se quando lo accendi hai collegato un mouse usb).

A me con qualche kernel (forse 64 bit) da quell'errore, ma poi funziona tutto regolarmente senza problemi, con la maggiornanza dei kernel ed i vanilla compilati l'errore non c'è. Penso che tu possa ignorarlo bellamente.

E' un problema del BIOS, ma puoi tranquillamente ignorarlo. Se vuoi sopprimerlo, aggiungi questo parametro alla stringa di boot del kernel (nel file di configurazione di GRUB):

ho modificato fstab, poi all'avvio quando mi ha detto che non trovava /dev/hd5 (cioè /boot), gli ho indicato il percorso corretto.
ed è partito;

potete spiegarmi la procedura per rendere il tutto automatizzato
