Siamo alla RC1 di una delle distribuzioni più semplici da usare e complete come applicazioni, desktop 3d e codec multimediali. ecco l'annuncio da Distrowatch in inglese:

The first release candidate of Granular Linux, a PCLinuxOS-based desktop distribution, is out and ready for testing: "It is my pleasure to announce the availability of Granular 1.0 RC, the last development release before the final Granular 1.0. Features and changes: Granular 1.0 now uses its own new repository; all updated packages, including Linux kernel 2.6.24.7, KDE 3.5.9, Enlightenment 0.16.999, Firefox 3.0, Thunderbird 2.0.0.14, KOffice 1.6.3, Compiz Fusion 0.7.6, GIMP 2.4.6; updated artwork; out-of-the-box support for audio and video files; pre-installed multimedia plugins for Firefox; support for multimedia keyboards and the extra laptop keys; read/write support for NTFS partitions; video drivers installation tool." DEvi installare kde-it , firefox-it, openoffice-it e diventa tutta in italiano. per i requisiti ti consiglio di visionare il sito.

Io l'ho provata, ma non ho riscontrato alcuna differenza rispetto a pclinuxos a parte l'aspetto grafico. Tu si ?
