Mi aiutate a capire di che ram ho bisogno?
Ciao a tutti! ho un vaio vgn fe11h con due banchi da 512 MB, vorrei toglierne uno per sostituirlo con un banco da 2gb.
con everest ho trovato che le ram attuali sono ddr2 sdram 512 MB 533. Dunque quali ram devo cercare? ho trovato un sito in cui vengono gestite separatamente le sdram e le ddr2..che fare? |

se ddr2 è sottoinsieme del concetto di sdram, allora devo cercare le ddr2 ..in ogni caso io ho xp, quindi 32 bit di parallelismo. Qual'è il massimo che posso montare senza che sia inutile? 2x2gb sono troppi?

nota che per il portatile devi prendere DDR2 di tipo SODIMM, è il formato meccanico adatto.
direi che passare da 1 a 2 GB sarebbe già un bel progresso, mentre passare a 4 non lo consiglio perchè il sistema operativo a 32 bit non gestisce completamente quella quantità di ram e non so neppure se la scheda madre del portatile sia compatibile con un simile upgrade.

Il portatile potrebbe non supportarti i banchi da 2 gb.
Ti conviene togliere entrambi i banchi da 512 e sostituirli con 2 banchi da 1gb. Così facendo eviti incompatibilità e mantieni il dual channel pieno
