PERSONALIZZARE AVVIO DEL PC: help me!

esiste un software o un MODO per personalizzare l' avvio del PC? ATTENZIONE, del PC, non di windows! In pratica, come nei notebook che all' avvio esce l' immagine della casa produttrice del notebook (acer, hp..) e le scritte in basso PRESS F2 to enter SETUP, ecc ecc.
E meglio ancora, esiste un software che mi permette di creare una pagina (sempre all' avvio del PC) accessibile premendo un dato tasto, in cui c è scritto qualcosa? Tipo Norton Ghost, in cui esce scritto PRESS F11 TO RECOVERY .. io vorrei che dicesse PRESS F8 TO HELP o qualcosa del genere. COME FARE? Nota bene: non voglio che cambi il logo EPA, bensì che appaia la stringa PRESS F9 TO GET HELP o qualcosa del genere che scrivo io e se pigi il tasto entri in una pagina con una serie di dati che inserisco sempre io.

La scheda madre è la ASROCK CONROE 1333-D667- 4DDRII-SVGA- PCI EXP-LAN-FSB 1333 , il procesore è Intel CORE 2 DUO E2160 - 1,8 GHz- 1 Mb-FSB 800. Devo fare questo lavoro sia per XP che per VISTA. I componenti hardware installati in ogni caso sono questi suddetti. Come si chiama questo genere di software? cosa posso cercare su Google per trovare qualcosa di interessante?
