[hd maxtor]Formattazione non completata
ho sottomano un maxtor diamondmax 120GB sata150 (quello con entrambii connettori di alimentazione per intenderci)... avevo la necessità di formattare questo hard disk senza però installare alcun sistema operativo (prima era presente windows xp home edition) : da gestione dischi avvio la formattazione che però si inchioda immancabilmente al 99% con un "tac" periodico dell'hard disk che continua fino a che non interrompo manualmente il processo...
la domanda è: ho un hard disk defunto?  se non è così come si può risolvere il problema?

Prova ad utilizzare i Seatools (possibilmente la versione per DOS) per controllare lo stato del tuo disco fisso.
