Personalmente non mi sembra niente male, sopratutto in rapporto al prezzo bisognerebbe vedere l'effettiva qualità dei materiale e delle finiture, chi magari possiede questo o il fratellino + piccolo posti le impressioni......grazie

Leggo sempre post di gente che ha bisogno di un consiglio x un case nuovo questo modello non ha il successo che merita (poverino ), xciò diamogli la giusta visibilità chissà che trovi qualcuno che si prende cura di lui

Verdict:

The rebel without any cool.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, the Sharkoon Silent Eagle series of case fans provided the best balance of noise and airflow, and walked away with two CPC Premium Grade Awards. Unfortunately, Sharkoon doesn't appear to use Silent Eagle fans in its own cases.

The Rebel 12 Value is a large steel chassis available in black or silver. At 540mm deep and 535mm tall, it has plenty of room inside for an E-ATX motherboard and a mammoth 11 5.25in drive bays. If that isn't enough to fulfil your data storage fantasies, there are also six 3.5in drive bays tucked away deep inside the case. Priced at close to £70, you wouldn't expect to find any advanced features, and the Rebel 12 Value doesn't spring any surprises in that area - there are no dust filters or fan controllers, and the motherboard tray is firmly riveted in place.

However, as the front panel is made from wire mesh, the Rebel 12 Value appears, on paper at least, to provide a reasonable amount of airflow. Behind the mesh is a 140mm intake fan, while a gigantic 250mm intake fan dominates the left side panel. However, the latter produces very little airflow, as the fan blades have barely any curvature, and the motor is so feeble that it struggles to move the blades at all. Theoretically, a larger fan can move more air than a smaller fan at the same noise level, but the 250mm fan in the Rebel 12 Value is so meagre that its presence seems pointless.

Although there's a 140mm fan mount on the back panel next to the motherboard, and a pair of 80mm fan mounts on the left panel opposite the 3.5in drive bays, no fans are provided, so the Rebel 12 Value has no exhaust fans. An Economy model of the Rebel 12 can be bought for £57.56 without any fans and a modified side panel, with mounts for two 120mm fans instead of the 250mm fan of the Value model.

Thanks to its generous dimensions, the Rebel 12 Value's interior is very easy to work with. However, there's no cable management system, so if you're not careful, your PC will look like the site of an industrial accident in a spaghetti factory.

Once we knew the 250mm side fan was an intake fan that didn't exhaust air, we came to the conclusion that the Rebel 12 Value would be unlikely to survive our one-hour stress test. However, we were still surprised by how quickly the PC heated up inside, crashing after just 19 minutes. This means the Rebel 12 Value provides the poorest cooling in this Labs test, and an examination of the temperature sensor log files revealed the reason behind this. After 19 minutes, the GeForce GTX 280 GPU reached an astonishing 102ûC, causing the graphics driver to crash rather spectacularly, dropping out of 3DMark06 and returning to the Windows desktop at 640 x 480 in 4-bit colour.

Although the hard disk and CPU had only reached 46ûC and 91ûC respectively during this time period, the log files revealed that both components were heating up at a prodigious rate. Using a complex set of calculations, we worked out that if the GPU hadn't overheated, the CPU would have reached 131ûC and the hard disk 66ûC by the end of the stress test. This is particularly damning, as thermtrip switches off Intel CPUs when they reach 125ûC, and hard disks suffer from data corruption above 60ûC. As the infrared photo reveals, the lack of exhaust fans means that the Rebel 12 Value isn't able to dissipate heat quickly enough to keep the insides of the PC cool for more than few minutes.

Conclusion

Although the Rebel 12 Value has a number of features in its favour, such as the fully ventilated front panel, the dire cooling ability means that it's completely unsuited to housing a modern high-end PC.

X quello che costa se uno vuole un case da modificare x il liquido o altro questo costa poco ed è bello grande, mo la vedo così poi ognuno credo sia in grado di fare le proprie scelte.
