Twitter with Friends usa un Client in WPF

Twittering with friends seems to be the new "thing-to-do" on the web these days. Many bloggers are using it and it has even made its way into an episode of CSI! So what exactly is Twitter you ask? Twitter is an online web service that lets you post what you are doing - in 140 characters or less - in which those who are "following" can track what you're doing based on what you post. Bloggers sometimes also use Twitter to share URLs and to share quick thoughts on a variety of topics.
Now I said that Twitter was a web service right? Well the Twitter developers have released an API in which developers can use to create "Twitter clients" to be used outside the web browser.

Alan Le, from the company Vertigo, has utilized the Twitter API and designed a WPF Twitter client called Witty that extends the Twitter experience into Windows Vista. If you recall, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) is built in to Windows Vista.

With Witty, I can quickly receive updates from people I am following as well as quickly post on what I'm doing (or any specific thought quickly I might have) quickly as the app nicely sits on my notification area of my taskbar

Twitter è un network e un servizio di micro-blog che permette agli utenti di mandare aggiornamenti (messaggi di testo, lunghi non più di 140 caratteri) via SMS, messaggeria istantanea, email, il sito di Twitter, o un'applicazione come Twitterrific. Twitter è stato creato nel Marzo 2006 da una società di San Francisco, l'Obvious Corp.

I messaggi pubblicati hanno l'intenzione di informare sul proprio status ovvero come ci si sente oppure cosa si sta facendo in quel momento. Ad esempio "Utente sta bevendo una tisana alla vaniglia".

Gli aggiornamenti sono mostrati nella pagina di profilo dell'utente e sono anche mandati istantaneamente agli altri utenti che si sono registrati per riceverli. Chi li manda può scegliere se inviarli solamente ad una ristretta cerchia di amici, mentre la procedura normale prevede che siano mandati a chiunque. Gli utenti possono ricevere gli aggiornamenti tramite il sito di Twitter, la messaggeria istantanea, gli SMS, gli RSS, le email e mediante un'applicazione. Per gli SMS sono disponibili attualmente tre tipi di modalità: brevi codici per gli USA e il Canada, e un numero UK per l'utilizzo internazionale.

ho provato ad usarlo allora ed esplodeva brutalmente, ho provato ad usarlo oggi e mi dice 403 - forbidden (non è il firewall, già controllato)
