Mentre ero in ufficio il mac ha fatto qualcosa... mi aiutate a capire?

Mi spiego: oggi stavo guardando la webmail quando ad un tratto ho visto la inbox vuota. (dall'ufficio controllo via web, da casa scarico con thunderbird)
Vabbeh, capita che distrattamente prema il tasto delete... di rado ma capita. Niente di male, sono solo le notifiche di risposta al forum.

Stasera torno a casa, accendo il mac, mi collego (strano però, ieri sera ho lasciato il router acceso... pazienza, tanto si scollega da solo dopo 20minuti di inattività) e apro thunderbird.



Le email sparite sono lì, in unread. Mmmmmhhhh...

Chiedo a casa, nessuno ha acceso il mac tranne mio padre che ha usato win, installato con bootcamp, per stampare un paio di cose e non si è collegato a internet (se avevo lasciato il router acceso ieri sera può darsi che si sia collegato da solo però).

Gli orari sono compatibili con mio padre che ha usato win, ma lui dice di non aver fatto null'altro e non vedo perchè dubiitare.

Molto probabile che thunderbird è stato avviato ed è stato impostato di cancellare dal server i messaggi scaricati. Puoi impostare di lasciare i messaggi sul server per un po di tempo dopo averi scaricati.

Io uso Mail e li lascio sul server per 3 giorni.

Controlla le impostazioni di thunderbird. E' un ottimo browser-mail ed è ha tante configurazioni.

Quello che non capisco è come abbia fatto a partire e a scaricare, dato che in quel momento io non ero a casa... il mac è stato acceso da mio padre che però è entrato in windows

Lo feci (verbo) per il passaggio da Outlook a Mail, praticamente quando sei a Tunderbird credo che puoi già importare o è sufficiente variare l'estensione di un paio di cose, butta un occhio su Google, c'è
