problemi con ssh ubuntu 6.06

ciao a tutti ho installato ssh su server ubuntu e poi sul mio notebook!! dopo averli abilitati sono riuscito ad entrare in remoto sul server!! ma dopo averlo riaviato ho provato a rientrare e mi da questo errore:

ora ho fatto un controllo su internet e ho trovato che devo agire sul file known_hosts che si trova nella cartella .etc della mia home!!
dal quel che ho capito devo levare la stringa che mi appare nell'output d'errore nel mio caso questa: 2b:96:dd:06:c4:d3:0c:cb:dd:1f:5d:ff:eb:fd:56:4e. il problema che nel file known_hosts non c'è questa stringa!!!
non so che fare!!

mi pare quasi che riavviando abbia ricreato le chiavi rsa sul server, prova a controllare i messages dell'avvio

ho risolto cancellando tutto il contenuto del file!!! solo che non è la soluzione ideale!! nel senso che ora mi ero collegato solo con un utente!! se fossero stati molti allora avrei avuto problemi!!!
