Samsung 250gb e patch per hard disk?

Ho visto che sul sito Samsung c'è una PATCH per alcuni modelli di hard disk...tra cui il 250gb che ha la mia ragazza...
ma a che serve questa patch?
non ho capito bene...

la devo mettere?
l'hard disk funziona bene per i momento...

Release the patch for an error prevention

* Cause
Reason For Patch : Error prevention which might be caused during format or OS install of HDD manufactured between Feb. 2006 and Mar.2006

* Solution
1. Issued Model
: 3.5 inch HDD (SP2014N / SP2514N / SP2004C / SP2504C / HD040HJ / HD080HJ / HD120IJ
/HD160JJ / SP1253N / SP1654N)

2. How To
Case1) PATA.ZIP or SATA.ZIP [For Floppy Disk Drive User]
- Download "PATA.ZIP or SATA.ZIP" in your computer
- Make bootable floppy
- Insert the formatted floppy disk into A: drive
- Unzip "PATA.ZIP or SATA.ZIP" file and copy them to floppy
- Remain the floppy disk in A: drive and turn off the computer
- Set 3.5 inch HDD as master drive using jumper pin and detach other HDDs from the computer
- Turn on the computer and go to CMOS(BIOS) setup
- Set the configuration as "Boot from A: drive"
- Boot the computer with floppy
- Type "run.bat" and enter in DOS mode, and the patch is executed automatically.
- When the patch is done turn off the computer using power button. (DO NOT use "Ctrl+Alt+Del" key)

Case2) RAMPatch.iso [For USB or CD-ROM Drive User]
- Download "RAMPatch.iso" in your computer
- Copy them to USB or CD
- Remain USB or CD and turn off the computer
- Set 3.5 inch HDD as master drive using jumper pin and detach other HDDs from the computer
- Turn on the computer and go to CMOS(BIOS) setup
- Set the configuration as "Boot from USB or CD-ROM drive" and boot the computer with USB or CD
- The patch is executed automatically.
- When the patch is done turn off the computer using termination button on the screen.
(DO NOT use "Ctrl+Alt+Del" key)
