Questo particolare "titolo" viene assegnato dall staff a quei modelli che si sono distinti per qualità, includendo in questo vago concetto sia le prestazioni che il prezzo, oltre a molte altre cose. <br><br>Ovviamente tutto è rapportato alla categoria di appartenenza del dispositivo. Ad esempio, un hard disk da 5400giri può essere considerato ottimo e fregiarsi del titolo di "safe buy", pur essendo inferiore come qualità e prestazioni ad un 7200 giri di qualità media, che non si è distinto nelle prove. Per quanto riguarda il criterio di giudizio possiamo affermare che ci sembra obiettivo, senza timori reverenziali nei confronti dei grossi marchi. Abbiamo preso in considerazione i modelli testati nel 2001, corredati da un nostro commento.<br><br>
