Errore installazione driver nvidia

Sto cercando di installare i driver nvidia per la scheda di rete della mia M2NPV-MV. I driver sono quelli forniti insieme alla scheda madre (versione 1.0-13), mentre la distro è una debian etch amd64 (kernel 2.6.17-9). Dopo aver lanciato l'eseguibile, si blocca la compilazione del modulo. Riporto tutto il log.

direi che il problema sta qui

solo che "‘)’" nn so che significhi....

io avevo installato gentoo per amd64 e la mobo era con chipset nf4 quindi la scheda di rete è quella...

ma nn mi ricordo di aver installato i driver nvidia per la eth ...

sto cercando il nome del modulo che utilizzavo...

Il driver dovrebbe essere il forcedeth, o almeno questo è quello che viene caricato sul mio pc.
Sto provando ad installare questi driver per vedere se la velocità scheda di rete aumenta con i driver nforce
