aggiornare firmware yamaha crw8824e

ciao a tutti! leggendo sul forum ho visto che è molto importante aggiornare il firmware dei masterizzatori, e visto che io non ho mai aggiornato il firmware del mio yamaha (ho ancora la versione 1.00!), vorrei farlo adesso. ho scaricato il file .bin e l' utility apposta, però siccome non ho mai fatto in vita mia questa operazione, avrei bisogno del vostro aiuto. nel file readme c' è scritto:

* For Windows NT4.0/2000/XP user

0. <This step is for Windows 2000/XP user only -
in this case, the drive is connected to the secondary IDE cable as slave>
Open the "Control Panel" and double-click on the "System" icon.
Select the "Hardware" tab and click on "Device Manager".
And click the "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" icon to open the
"Secondary IDE Channel" window. Then double-click the "Advanced Settings" tab.
Then choose "PIO Only" to uncheck "DMA" option.

1. Open the folder of the installer and double-click [wininst.exe]
to start the installer utility program.

2. Please make sure CRW8824e is chosen as target drive
(the drive to upgrade the firmware) in the dialogue.

3. The target firmware version shows the version of the recorder
you have at this moment.
The source firmware version shows the latest version of the firmware
for the recorder and the file name of the program.

4. Click [Update] to start the upgrade process.

5. The progress bar goes on to the end and the message
"The firmware has installed successfully" will appear.

6. Reboot both the PC and the recorder to complete the upgrade process.
<For Windows 2000/XP User, make sure to change the "DMA" setting to be enabled.>

il masterizzatore è si collegato al secondary ide ma come master, quindi come devo procedere?
inoltre quando avvio l' utility c'è scritto di disabilitare l' inserimento automatico, come faccio a disabilitarlo?
