WD2500KS vs WD3200KS... Piatti più grandi o c'è altro...

Salve gente, dopo tanto tempo mi sono deciso a comprare un nuovo hd... La mia scelta ricade su Western Digita, SATAII.
Ero deciso per il 250Gb, ma poi ho notato la piccola differenza d prezzo (30€ ca) col fratello maggiore,WD3200KS (320Gb). Qualche domanda:

1)fra i due cambia solo la dimensione dei piatti?
2)i 30€ valgono i 70Gb?
3)le prestazioni si riducono? di molto?
4)Voi cosa fareste al posto mio?
