ho una scheda di rete realtek 8139 è possibile attivarla in modalità promiscua? devo installare dei driver apposta?

sto già usando ethereal, ho fastweb e vorrei sniffare i pacchetti che passano per l'hag solo che non riesco a vederli. In teoria non dovrebbe essere come un hub quindi in modalità promiscua dovrei vederli, no?

non credo
li sniffi se hai un hub; un hag non credo lavori in commutazione di pacchetto, anche perchè gli ip fastweb sono asegnati singolarmente ad ogni porta
