Ciao, vorrei sapere come posso fare affinchè la directory di base in cui piazzo il mio index.html non sia più /var/www ma /home/username/public_html

non basta, occorre modificare anche il valore del tag <Directory> che punta alla root del web.

ragazzi ho risolto, o meglio raggirato il problema con apache v1 per intenderci...resta il fatto che ora voglio far funzionare apache2, anche se nn capisco che abbia di diverso..
 ...a parte quel file htpd.conf vuoto!

Io modifico in /etc/apache2/default-server.conf la default-root e directory e via.
Suse 10. Però httpd.conf non è vuoto... |
