This release of Catalyst® introduces the following new features:

* Overlay Theater Mode Enhancement
* Avivo™ Video Converter

Overlay Theater Mode Enhancement

This release of the Catalyst® introduces an enhancement to the Overlay Theater mode found in the Catalyst® Control Center. This enhancement allows for higher resolution than the current desktop setting to be available for the Overlay Theater mode.
Avivo™ Video Converter

This release of Catalyst® introduces the Avivo™ Video Converter. The Avivo™ Video Converter is a transcoder tool that provides a quick and easy way of converting videos from one format to another. The Avivo™ wizard found in the Catalyst® Control Center, allows the user to select the input file, and output format, along with the quality level and file location. The Avivo™ Video Converter accepts a wide variety of file formats as a source, and outputs to file formats such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4/DivX, WMA, H.264/AVC and more. Performance Improvements

As with most Catalyst® releases, performance has increased in various situations.

* 3DMark05: Pixel Shader test runs as much as 1-2% faster, primarily when Anisotropic Filtering is enabled
* Call of Duty 2: Framerates are up 5-10% on the enthusiast-class ATI Radeon® X1800 and ATI Radeon® X1900 products

Le prestazzioni nn si aumentano di molto ... pero' ho un problema con Il CCC in ita scaricato lo istallo ma una volta che va in esecuzzione in beckgound quando ci clikko nn mi si apre sapete mika perke ... per il resto senbra solo che le prestazzioni aumentino nel 4 test del 3d makr 03

A me è sceso il punteggio del 2005 e aumentato il 2006, tipo 20/30 punti.
Ho provato Fear a 1024x768 perchè il mio monitor non mi permette di andare oltre e ho perso 1fps

In effetti questi driver non sono un granchè visto che a Serious Sam 2 se attivo l'anti aliasing dai driver non lo prende

anche io ho scaricato i driver e il CCC in italiano separati ma non riesco ad aprire
il pannello di controllo,adesso provo a scaricare la versione da oltre 30 mega.
Ho fatto un 3d mark 2005 e ho fatto 8900 contro i 8700 di quando avevo i 6.2 ma avevo settato HQ AF mentre con i 6.3 no.

Penso sia un bug quello che nn si apre il CCC ma vedi tu' un po' sta ati io ho rimesso i 6.2 fino ad un altra versione dei driver

anche a me il ccc non andava coi 6.3
poi lo richiamato dal start/tutti i programmi ccc advanced e miracolosamente funziona anche da iconcina vicina all'orologio

Ieri sera ho formattato il pc,e visto che sono usciti i nuovi driver ati 6.3, volevo installarli, ho una scheda video asus ax800xt-tvd;
1)aggiorno completamente il S.O.
2)installo i driver delle periferiche partendo dalla scheda video e poi tutto il resto......
una domanda:
ho visto che esiste anche il pacchetto in italiano del CCC, devo installare prima i driver completi(34 MB) e poi il pacchetto della lingua, oppure solo i driver e dopo il pacchetto della lingua?
spero che mi aiutate vorrei fare una installazione "bella pulita".

dopo aver visto che il CCC in italiano non funzionava allora ho disinstallato sia i driver che il CCC e poi naturalmente driver cleaner per pulire per bene il registro e ho scaricato il pacchetto da 34 mega e lo installato ed è andato tutto liscio e anche se è inglese il CCC funziona benissimo.
Ho rifatto il 3D MArk 2005 e ho fatto a default senza filtri 8900 con un aumento di 200 punti rispetto ai 6.2 e giocando a Battlefield 2 e il gioco girava esattamente uguale.

per disinstallare i vecchi driver, nella voce installazione appicazioni del pannello di controllo, ho 3 VOCI della ATI. una sono i gli ATI driver, una il CATALYST CONTROL CENTER e un'altra che ora non ricordo il nome. devo disisntallarne una per una, o ce ne è una che gli disinstalla tutti e 3?
