Ciao a tutti,
sto installando su un pc che usa Ubuntu v5.10 la versione 4.6 di sharutils. Ho letto il file "INSTALL" contenuto nella directory dove ho scompattato il tar.bz2 e faccio partire lo script di configurazione "./configure" e qui ho il seguente problema:

Qualcuno sa dirmi da cosa dipende quest'errore e come posso risolverlo?
Aggiungo che lo stesso pacchetto l'ho installato su una suse 10 e non mi ha dato nessuna noia!

Appena inserito il topic ho trovato la soluzione: ho installato il pacchetto "build-essential" ed ha funzionato tutto!
