Il viola al 99% è dovuto alle foto, mentre Lee è sempre stato 6'9'' eh

Nulla di strano, il Gallo quando giocava a Milano nelle foto (e non solo) era il più alto di tutti (anche di Balir, che era il centro titolare)

Pure io in tutte le foto delle elementari ero il piu' alto di tutti (e non solo nelle foto).
Ma non credo che sarebbe lo stesso se mi fotografassero col roster dei knicks!

Gallo è almeno 2.09, e mi ricorda sempre più e più di tutti Toni Kukoc, ovvero l'unica guardia bianca (ma anche nera) sopra i 2 e 06.
Kukoc poi lo rovinararono parzialmente reimpostandolo da ala (anche grande ), ma da giovane era proprio un 2.
Gallinari è meno bravo al tiro (perchè pur essendo per me eccellente è comunque inferiore al fenomenale Kukoc, capace di sparare triple con facilità mostruosa, al punto che il grande Aldo Giordani in pratica coniò con largo anticipo quello che sarebbe diventato il tipico basket FIBA del 2000, parlando di "Kukkozìa"!), ma ha tale conoscenza istintiva del basket intesa come visione di gioco e fondamentali perfetti che per me rimane e sarà sempre una guardia nel corpo di un'ala.
Spero che D'Antoni lo impieghi da 2 (anche perchè lì c'è solo il tremebondo Hughes), perchè se è vero che può soffrire le guardie nere più rapide è altrettanto vero che una guardia così alta non s'è mai vista e sarebbe uno spettacolo a prescindere.

On Tuesday, Monta Ellis slightly changed his stance on playing beside Stephen Curry.

"The only way we'd be able to play together is certain matchups," said Ellis. "That's the only way."

Ellis "didn't say anything that was untrue," Nelson said. "There will be plenty of times that they won't be able to play with each other. I wouldn't put them in a situation in which they couldn't compete."

he Raptors expect new acquisition Reggie Evans to make Andrea Bargnani a better and tougher player.

“They went at it pretty hard,” said Raptors president Bryan Colangelo, who acquired Evans from the Philadelphia 76ers for Jason Kapono in June. “The first day . . . by the end of it [Bargnani] was like a punch-drunk prize fighter. He looked like he was exhausted. It was fighting on the glass; it was trying to exert more energy on the offensive end because he had someone defending him – whether it was at the three-point line or inside – with physical force.

“I saw him come back the next day with a little different approach and he was more prepared for it. I said wow, if that’s any indication of how Reggie is going to make others on the floor better, it happened in 24 hours.”

“I’m happy Reggie’s here. I think he’s going to make me better,” said Bargnani. “He’s a good rebounder. He can get me used to boxing out my man every time. He always goes to rebound every time so you have to box out, you have to stay focused.”
