neppure in /etc/hotplug o /etc/pcmcia
ma cos'ho io? l'unica fedora rompiballe della storia? non c'è una cosa che io faccia che vada dritta al primo colpo... neppure seguendo le istruzioni passo passo ma chi me l'ha fatto fare ma insomma... un pc è pur sempre una macchina... le macchine non dovrebbero essere dispettose ne sapra anche più di me ma insomma... ilsensine mi sembra che ne sappia più di lui ... il che fa si che col suo aiuto dovrei farcela ... spero

) ho provato anche in altre directories (/lib/firmware/ , /etc/hotplug ed /etc/pcmcia ) seguendo istruzioni trovate con google(con entrambi i nomi del file. il fatto è che quando inserisco la scheda il notebook non batte ciglio e neppure se riavvio con la scheda già inserita si degna di vederla eppure nella procedura c'è scritto solo di copiare quel file in quella directory non è che per caso in qualche modo devo dire al kernel di cercare li quando inserisco la scheda? nella procedura non c'è scritto nulla a riguardo ma magari viene dato per scontato Capisco di essere solo un povero misero newbbo... però a copiare un file in una dir ci arrivo, e se questa procedura dovrebbe funzionare con Quote:

Bè in quel link si parla del driver acx1xx; se la tua distribuzione non lo fornisce, lo devi installare a mano e può non essere divertente per chi non è pratico...

Sei decisamente andato avanti. Non sono pratico di configurazione wifi, qui ti deve aiutare qualcin altro. Le uniche cose che noto sono:
wlan0 ha solo un indirizzo ipv6; prova a dare - ad es - un "ifconfig wlan0 10.0.0.1 up" e vediamo che succede. Credo che ifconfig non sia sufficiente da solo a configurare tutti i parametri del wifi, ma è una prova veloce che puoi fare. Il conteggio dei pacchetti è 0. Se l'ifconfig di prima ha successo, prova un ping -b 10.0.0.255 e vediamo se almeno i TX aumentano. Controlla sempre dmesg per leggere eventuali warning scritti dal driver.
