io lo dicocome si scrive " radeon" ...non so in usa/canada come lo pronuncino, dire "Reidion" mi pare esagerato bho però forsse è la pronuncia corretta...

Ho provato i nuovi cata è non è cambiato niente rispetto ai precedenti
Piuttosto vorrei sapere se è normale fare 14000 punti (1700 GFX score) ad aquamark3 con questa configurazione (a me sembra poco...)

P4 2.4ghz - Raddy 9700 liscia - 512 mb ram 333mhz - mobo MSI 845GE max

P.S. La pronuncia corretta dovrebbe essere redion o almeno è così che la pronucia Rachel nel demo della 8500

Important Notes:
1. If you are experiencing crashes or black screens just a few seconds after
entering a game, DISABLE VPU RECOVER (IF available), that should help.
2. If you play Call of Duty (Full version, not demo) and experience lockups
in certain game areas, DISABLE Fastwrites.
3. To use the Profiler Software you may need to download and install a recent
version of .net runtime from Microsoft. If you get an error message, at program
start which sounds like "program cannot be intitialized", then you need to download
and install the latest .net runtime from Microsoft, or you will not be able to

REMINDERS:
1- If you have the normal ATI drivers, uninstall the ATI Control Panel BEFORE
upgrading to these drivers, the drivers already have the CP integrated
and another CP may cause conflicts or other problems.

2- There is no need to uninstall ANY previous drivers (ATI or OMEGA) when
installing these, they will override any previous settings.

3- In Windows 2k/XP, ALWAYS disable DDC in the ATI "Displays/Monitor" CP after
installing drivers to be able to use ALL the refresh rates and resolutions
your monitor supports, also this is the best way to avoid the 60Hz RR bug.

4- The WDM drivers for VIVO and AIW cards are not included, but they can be
downloaded separately from a link in my drivers page.

5- I have received various E-Mails asking about FastWrites, there is only one
answer to that: TURN IT OFF
The Radeon cards do support FastWrites and they will work with it on
(on some machines), but it is not recommended, there is NO SPEED gain
when using FW, and this option will affect your PC's stability a LOT.

*** IMPORTANT FASTWRITES UPDATE ***
An important info has come to my attention, if you have a Radeon 9600 Pro card,
regardless of the manufacturer, you MUST enable Fastwrites to make it work
properly, if not, you may experience crashes and lockups! (This is only a temporary
fix until ATI resolves the problem)

I don't recomend the use of ANY external tweakers with my drivers (specially Rage3D
tweaker), as they override my special settings and will make my work useless. The only
time I recommend a tweaker is when you have a specific problem with a specific tweak
and need to change it in order to make the drivers work correctly. Also if you use
a tweaker for overclocking, FSAA, Gamma or Aniso settings, is just fine, but you'll
be better off using the integrated ATI CP for that (which is ok by me if you change
any setting in it).

If you have any problems with this drivers please go to my webpage
and look in the ATI help section for answers. If still have problems
look for the drivers thread in www.driverheaven.net forums and let me know
what is going on.

If you happen to find a new tweak or fix for a specific game or many games
and it proves that it works then drop me an E-Mail (don't post it in the
forums), I'll make sure credit will be granted to that person in this INFO file."

Sono passato dai 3.7 ai 3.9,leggevo che c'era l'unistall ma io non ho visto nulla mi sara' sfuggito.
Cmq non amando i vari programmi di test perchè sono truffaldini secondo me,ho testato i nuovi driver con UT2K3,ho fatto un bench di tutte le mappe sia in flyby che in botmatch,ho avuto un miglioramento di 3-4 fps in tutte le mappe e questo non è male.

Io penso che tutti scarichino i nuovi driver e poi fanno la solita procedura,eliminare i vecchi driver - riavviare - eliminare pannello di controllo - riavviare - istallare i nuovi driver e poi pannello di controllo.
