OK got it in a little bit ago, the monitor def has a flicker on menus which is NOT present in my Asus PG348Q I have them both hooked up and the Asus is not doing it at all just like I said it doesn't. On to details, the monitor is built nicely I like the aluminum base on it and also like how the base pushes the monitor back the furthest from the viewer unlike the X34 and the PG348Q which I ended up having to buy a stand put the monitor away from me. My monitor does hold itself up all the way up without falling. I like the cords that come with the monitor the power brick is quite large compared to the X34 and PG348Q. The menu buttons and menu are garbage compared to the Asus PG348Q which is by far the best I have ever messed with. The curve of the monitor is def more present than both the X34 and PG348Q which it should be by specs. One thing I noticed is I think the stand's arm is bent the monitor has a def lean to it on the display side which is not there on the base holding a level on the base the base is completely leveled but the monitor has a right leaning tilt to it (it is very minimal but it is still present and just wanted to mention it) The blb is very minimal a lot better than the IPS panels in the all the bigger gaming monitors. I don't see any scan lines that I had issues with the X34, colors are decent I used the settings that were in this thread they are good.

Summary less of a read
Pro: Nicely Built
Nice Stand
No scan lines
Minimal BLB
No dead pixels

Cons: Menu/interface is HORRIBLE one of the worst I have ever used
Anodizing is splotchy and not even in color (this also follows into reports of people pulling off the anodizing when pulling the label off, my label did come off without issues tho i did let the monitor
heat up some before attempting it the aluminum trim on the bottom gets slightly warm so that helps)
Power Brick quite large for a monitor
Screen Flicker is DEF present and noticeable even to my wife and 5 year old son lol

I am not going to touch on colors and accuracy this monitor is toted as a gaming monitor not a production monitor so it does good enough for a gaming monitor. Anyways will I keep it, I am unsure at this point the menu flickering and the monitor leaning are quite annoying to me. I am going to give it two or three days and see how much it changes I read from users on this forum and reddit that after a day or two of usage the monitor got better.

Cerco un GSYNC, 100hz speravo in questi nuovi VA, vediamo quanto realmente e' problematico e risolvibile il Flickering

Oltre al flickering si lamentano che questi nuovi pannelli VA nativi 100Hz sono anche peggiori come contrasto cromatico dei VA precedenti, infatti in certe situazioni lo accostano molto ad un pannello TN

Mi sa che disdico l'Omen e aspetto tempi migliori!!!!!

Simply put: agood monitor for anyone who:

1. Plays mainly FPS games
2. Owns a Nvidia GPU and wants to take benefit from G-sync
3. Can't pay 1300$ for other G-sync UWs (or doesn't want to)
4. Is accustomed to playing on TN and thus doesn't mind the color shifting.

There's plenty of such gamers in current times, so I'm sure this monitor will please some.

It's just not for me, I guess.

It's definitevely a gaming monitor. AOC got that part of the branding right.

idem, io ho gettato la spugna e preso l'AOC da 27' a 670 euro su Amazon..avrà i difetti dell'IPS ma almeno mi sono tenuto in tasca quei 300 euro di differenza che investirò quando usciranno pannelli fatti come si deve o almeno senza questi difetti, per me sconcertanti su monitor di questa fascia di prezzo

Non è tra i migliori VA in commercio da quesot punto di vista...d'altra parte tutte le caratteristiche "gaming" portano ad un degrado dell'immagine, quindi è inevitabile scendere a compromessi.

Ribadisco che sarebbe bello vedere delle recensioni serie dell'Omen. E a questo punto personalmente torno a rivalutare il Samsung o l'Asus, o appunto l'X34P... tanto mi pare di capire che l'active sync in un modo o nell'altro dei problemi li dia sempre...

Sui 27 GSYNC e' il migliore, il problema è che una volta giocato con un 21:9 da 34" difficilmente torni indietro, che palllleeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

Il rog con fabbricazione post luglio 2016 , e generalmente tutti gli ACER x34A .

Ovvio che un minimo li avrai su entrambi.

Dall'immagine che hai postato, la tua scrivania sembra poco profonda, calcola che per trovarti bene con un 34" 21:9 devi avere sui 90 cm di distanza dal pannello, altrimenti ti troverai male e ti scoppieranno dei bel mal di testa
