Avrei bisogno di acquistare uno switch/router gigabit da 8 porte.

Non ho bisogno di funzionalità wireless tantomeno adsl, solo gestire
il traffico gigabit.

Ciao a tutti,
devo acquistare uno switch e dato che ho tutto (router + powerline) Netgear, sono orientato verso questi 2 modelli:

Netgear GS105E;
Netgear GS605.

Non c'è tanta differenza di prezzo, solo che non so proprio quale scegliere.

Considerate che a me serve prevalentemente per vedere film/serie residenti su un server, collegato ad un AsRock che mi fa da mediacenter, il tutto "messi insieme" da 2 powerline; poi dovrei collegare anche la tv, e MySky.

GS608, nonostante abbia 128 KB buffer per porta anziché 32 KB, è per uso home, GS108 è per uso business.
Immagino che il GS108 abbia un migliore raffreddamento (infatti è di metallo) e qualcuno dice che ha meno problemi nel rilevamento dei cavi di rete (boh...).
Il resto pare uguale. Io prendo il GS108 tanto a differenza è piccola e conosco una persona che lo usa continuamente da un anno senza problema alcuno. Il GS608 non so invece.
