UK Gaming magazine GamesMaster has published the first review for Resident Evil: Revelations, with the recently released January 2012 edition awarding the blood-splattered 3DS title a positively glowing score of 91%.

Excitedly described as “the game to convince Resi fans that the series is back to its best,” the respected magazine proceeds to state that Resident Evil: Revelations is “one of the scariest games ever committed to handheld, and a spectacular return to form.” The zombie-ridden title’s environments, story-line and overall scares are also praised, with the cruise liner level outlined as “a corking setting for Revelations, with a choking atmosphere trapped inside its creaking hull.”

forse ci son 3 modi di 3D attivabili, tipo marioland.
altra novità: pare ci sia una piccola componente di crescita delle armi, alla dead space.
buone novità anche per le scansioni di nemici e ambiente.
come ritmo di gioco dice che è meno frenetico del 5, più vicino al 4 quantomeno.
fa paura, pur essendo adventure oltre che horror, con ambienti più claustrofobici, scuri etc..
molti cambi di scenario lo rendono bello vario.
la divisione in capitoli è ben fatta, con piccoli riassunti del "precedente" che lo rendono godibile anche su portatile (30 minuti circa a capitolo in media).
spesso avremo la compagnia dell'altro character, ma non come in re5, bensì molto meno invasivo, il titolo resta nel single player una avventura single player.
graficamente sfruttato il 3ds benissimo.
ottime cinematiche.
buoni controlli anche durante le fasi di sparo.
non è uno spinoff, è un vero e proprio capitolo della saga.
interamente doppiato per la prima volta.

Lo prendo senza stick.
Avendolo provato i comandi sono già ottimi di suo senza secondo stick.

Più che altro sembra interessante la modalità raid.

T-Abyss

A team of scientists at Montpellier University of Marine Science found the new fish virus
from a deep-sea fish by carrying out the 4th deep-sea investigation
at the Kermadec Trench with an unmanned exploration vessel.

The new virus "T-Abyss" was created by combining the "The Abyss" virus,
which was named after the fear of unfathomed depth, and the T-virus.

The creation of "T-Abyss" shows how easy it has become to
develop viruses that can mutate across species,
even the B.O.W. can be created using fish based genes.

There were only a few incidents where "T-Abyss" was used to attack,
but even now new types of B.O.W. are being developed.


NEMICI

Ooze:

Ooze is what an infected person ends up as after being infected with "T-Abyss".

Once the virus gets into a body, it units with the cell membranes
and makes them start absorbing an abnormal amount of water.

The cell membranes swell up with the osmotic pressure
and in the end and they collapse as if they melted away.

When this phenomenon happens throughout the body of a human being,
the infected person's body changes as if they had been drowned,
they become sodden and almost liquefy.

"T-Abyss" continues its propagation and craves
more water and nutrients, which drives the body of the host.
This impulse is the reason why ooze sucks fluid
from the body of its victims.

Sea Creeper:

Sea Creeper is a mutation of a human body infected by "T-Abyss".

As you can imagine from the name, it is an aquatic monster.

This special mutation tends to happen when a female body gets infected.

The carapace looks like a woman's long hair and covers the entire body,
reducing friction and allowing them to move freely underwater.

It enables them to creep around the water silently.

As soon as these monsters approach their targets,
they spread their six arms which they use to hold
their prey while they eat them.

It is impossible to escape from their arms
because the embrace reminds
them of their mother's love.


Scagdead:

Scagdead is a mutation of a body that has a strong resistance to the virus
(this can only be seen in 1 out of 1000 people).

However the resistance to the infection only slows it down
and won't be able to stop its advance entirely.

When people get infected, they suffer from high fever then develop
tumors around their shoulders and necks.

These symptoms happen a few days or weeks after being infected,
and as the infection advances the host gradually loses consciousness.

The infected are aware they are being taken over by the virus,
yet they cannot do anything about it.

Even after the madness of the virus has complete control,
the head of the host mutters words unconsciously,
as if they are sleepwalking.


Ghiozzo:

Once a fish gets infected by "T-Abyss", it mutates
and becomes a fierce carnivorous fish called Ghiozzo.

Their appearance is very similar to the deep-sea fish
that the team discovered which hosted
the fish virus "The Abyss".

When developing the virus "T-Abyss",
The Abyss was used as the base of the virus.

Because of the influence of the virus,
they have great appetites and can crush anything
with their sharp teeth and strong jaws.

The famous aggression of a piranha is fiction that was created by movies,
but a school of Ghiozzo can actually eat large mammals,
bones and all within a few seconds.


Farfarello:

Farfarello（meaning Slanderer）was named
after one of the 12 devils called Malebranche（Evil Claws）
from the Divine Comedy written by Dante Alighieri.

Farfarello is the improved breed of "hunter"
and was created by adding the "T-Abyss" to hunters.

As a result, Farfarello came to have characteristics
such as the ability to mimic its surroundings
and become transparent like a group of aquatic organisms would do.

However, because it has been exposed to multiple viruses,
it is believed that it became so aggressive
that it is even more difficult to control.
