non si sa, e non si sa neanche che modifiche avrà rispetto alla 5870.

se guardiamo al passato la 4890 era una chip con lievi modifiche che permetteva frequenze + alte rispetto alla 4870 e stop.
bisognerà vedere se sarà così anche x la 5890 (frequenze + alte e + vram) o se avrà anche alcuni shader in +!

certo, e se vi ricordate cosa ha detto Yossarian in merito anche (discorso uguale per R600 a suo tempo)alle HD5000 Series.....ATI non punta sulla leadership prestazionale.
Dubito che con la 5890 vogliano primeggiare sul mercato a singola GPU....oppure adesso puntano sulle prestazioni anche ATI?
Tutto da verificare con Fermi per carità...

Non ti aspettare una GPU fresca con Fermi.Tutt'altro.

Il mio case sembra sopravvissuto ad un incidente contro un tank...è un miracolo che svolga il suo compito ancora con dignità....mi sa che la prossima spesa è un qualcosa di piu' decente, magari trasparente!!

The company won’t share all the information especially as after CES Nvidia wants to have its famous editor's days in Vegas and show them the power of Fermi. Since this is an NDA event, this is not something we will be attending anytime soon, but most of our good friends will.

The Fermi launch is still “on schedule” for Q1 but we can only hope that this will happen in real people Q1, latest on March 31th and not at Nvidia’s financial Q1 that runs one month behind.

Fermi is real, but since volume production is ramping up, even if launched in January, Fermi would have very limitedly availability for quite a few weeks.

All the delays definitely have casted a bad aura around this product and many people, especially the one whos love the power or ATI, now compare Fermi to NV30. So far, at least with all of the delays, they are not that much off.
