io piùttosto direi che nonostante un forte ritardo non sono state in grado di sovrastare la concorrenza, e questo ne ha determinato il flop

se pensate che quei folli della sony volevano far fare tutta la grafica a 2 cell affiancati......


poi dopo aver visto le spec della 360...

xbox sono daccordo ma ps3 non mi pare prorpio un flop, diciamo un floppino.

il problema di ps3 invece non è stato il ritardo ma lacomplessità nello sviluppo dei titoli.

poi ovviamente io non concepisco le consolle ma è un'altro disc orso.

Cavolo ma questi stanno proprio messi male ,peggio di come si immaginava,se l'andazzo è questo la 5870 la paghiamo 300 euro per molto tempo

c'è da dire che comunque è un buon prezzo per una scheda del genere, io due le ho pagate 650.

Nvidia partners have high hopes that GF100, Fermi chip, should end up as a good one and they are already ordering some huge quantities of it.

The reasons behind such a risky decision are quite clear. GT200 is not that widely available anymore and probably someone at Nvidia messed up with 55nm wafer orders, as Nvidia didn’t expect to have such a strong demand in Q3 and Q4, and therefore partners do hope that Fermi can fix the situation.

You have to be the early birds with your orders as once Nvidia show it to all of the partners, the waiting line to get chips might already be too long. It is not that Nvidia partners have much of a choice, as GT200 is slowly being discontinued and Fermi is supposed to fill the gap.

Nvidia and its partners believe that Fermi should destroy Radeon 5870 and 5850 sales, but this is only once when Fermi starts shipping and it strongly depends on the quantities of what Nvidia can deliver. Until then ATI will be making quite a lot of money on 58x0 and 57x0 series.

probabile. Anche perchè l'uscita di GT300 combacia (circa) con l'uscita del refresh di ATI quindi non è la HD5870 che si deve confrontare fermi ma con HD5890 e HD5890 X2. Lo spero per loro che sia veramente così potente

uhm, più che altro sono curioso di vedere nvidia a 330 e 240 euro cosa offrirà (e quando).
