memtest
rilevo molti errori alle ram, dove posso trovare una spiegazione per ogni singolo errore trovato?

Ciao, memtest ti dice che ha trovato errori durante la copia di determinate word (memorie da 16 bit), quindi non ti da un codice di errore ma solo su quali word si è verificato il problema.
Se non hai il sistema overcloccato significa che la ram è fallata. Prova a ripetere il test con ogni singolo modulo per trovare quello incriminato. |

Purtroppo non saprei come si fa a risalire al tipo di errore...però ho una domanda: per utilizzare al meglio memtest (io ho scaricato e usato l'ultima versione disponibile sul sito: memtest86+-2.01.iso) è sufficiente lanciarlo e lasciarlo andare o bisogna settare delle opzioni particolari? Perchè ho smanettato tra le varie opzioni, selezionando ad esempio test all memory o cose del genere, e mi ha segnato un sacco di errori appena ho scelto quelle opzioni. Invece lasciandolo andare normale non trova errori...
Qualche suggerimento? |

non è un codice, dice solo che la word scritta è diversa da quella letta.. quindi è un errore. Invece con i settaggi particolari, si potrebbe entrare in aree di memoria riservata, dove la CPU tenta di scrivere, ma poi legge un valore diverso. Questo anche se può dare errore non significa che la memoria è difettosa. |
