Salve a tutti volevo sapere se Dansguardian è gratuito, in generale, e nel caso specifico in una situazione come questa:

un'azienda installa e configura dansguardian ad un'altra azienda.

Te lo dice lui nella sezione "Licence FAQs" della pagina che hai linkato:

Situation --> "Can I download it for free with no charge from this website?"

I want to install it for a charge --> "No, you must buy a download licence."

GPL means GPL which means no restrictions can be imposed on redistribution so the Debian would treat it as any other GPL app. Of course, should a commercial user want to upgrade his copy of DG he got with Debian by downloading from my site, he would have to pay unless he waited for Debian to release their version.
But I am unsure of how a commercial user could sleep at night making illegal downloads from my site and profiting from my years work.

Secondo me la parte che sottolinei non aggiunge niente alla questione. Ti dice solo che sei libero di scaricare il sw da qualcuno che ha deciso di non farlo pagare *anche* per applicazioni commerciali, peró se vuoi fare l'upgrade o aspetti che qualcuno rilasci la nuova versione con una modalitá simile, oppure lo scarichi da chi sviluppa il software, e paghi la licenza.

quindi si puo' anche fatturare come installazione e configurazione, da azienda per azienda, giusto?
